VIRTUAL CHAMPAGNE TASTINGS

 

I am now officially offering customizable virtual champagne tastings! Book your next virtual tasting experience focused on champagne! Tastings our customizable. Enjoy a glass of champagne from the comfort of your home or office. This is a great team building event and I am happy to offer virtual champagne wine tastings to corporate groups.

 

How it works:

Your tasting fee gets you: A 1 hour led tasting with me, Laura a DipWSET and Master of Champagne. The tasting will be via Zoom and is accessible through the Zoom App or Desktop. You can join from one screen or many screens depending on the number of people in your group. The link will be sent to everyone who signs up. These tastings are the perfect way to start off a girls night, celebrate a birthday or holiday, or to begin your champagne education. I also offer corporate virtual tastings, which is always a great team building activity. I will send via e-mail a champagne tasting guide, a custom champagne and food pairing guide, along with a champagne tasting grid. Message me here for availability.

  1. Pick your theme: All options are customizable but a few ideas to get your mind rolling…

    • Champagne 101 – we will delve into house style of some grandes marques.

    • Meet the Growers – A tasting of grower champagnes throughout the region.

    • Rosé all day – We will taste through the two methods of rosé making in Champagne - blending and the saignée method.

    • Blanc de Blancs or Blanc de Noirs – We will focus on a particular style across different maisons.

    • Vintage – What’s in a year? Let’s compare a vintage year to distinguish its characteristics!

  2. Purchase your champagne: You will need to purchase your champagnes for the tasting. I will link you to specific champagnes to purchase in your specified budget online but also provide suggestions that you will be able to find at your local wine shop. I can also work with your preferred retailer to put together a list of wines that fit your taste and budget.

  3. Pop bottles and let the fun begin! – Enjoy the effervescence as I review fun facts and guide you through the tasting.

*Tasting fee is non refundable & by submitting payment you agree to these terms. If you need to cancel or reschedule you can use this as a credit to a future tasting in the same year that you booked it for. Must be applied to a the virtual or in person tasting you booked for.
